About Your Donations,

Where & How They Are Used

All your donations are used to support adults living with sight loss in the East Lancashire area which includes the boroughs of Hyndburn, Pendle, Rossendale, Burnley, and Ribble Valley.

We do not support people living outside these areas.

We use your donations to run our social groups in Hyndburn and Pendle, conduct home visits, assess the impact of sight loss on people’s lives, and provide equipment to help people be confident and independent at home, work or leisure.

Volunteering

As a local charity we really appreciate the support we receive from our volunteers whether helping with our social groups, fundraising or doing jobs that our staff team don’t have the skills to do.

We provide any training and support you may need to volunteer safely and effectively.

Volunteering can sometimes offer a safe way to enter or return to paid employment and we are committed to supporting you do that if that’s your plan.

What our clients say

At first, I felt like it was just me in this position until I had an appointment with Luke and saw how he does things and it made me feel better overall.

Having more confidence around other people now and I have learnt that there are different ways to do things.
